Planet Word is pleased to host The Washington Calligraphers Guild on their 50th Anniversary for an exclusive showcase of the 2026 Graceful Envelope Contest winners.

This year, calligraphers of all ages — from elementary school students to adults — addressed creative envelopes with the theme “Great Beginnings.”

Drop in to view a display of the winning envelopes, learn techniques from expert members of the Guild, and try your hand at the art of calligraphy!

Reserve a general admission pass in advance (1:00 p.m. or 1:30 p.m. time slots) to ensure plenty of time to enjoy museum exhibits before the workshop.
