Learning Through Theater with Imagination Stage and Planet Word

Two field trips in one! Watch a performance of New Kid by Dennis Foon produced by Imagination Stage, participate in hands-on theater-inspired activities led by teaching artists, then visit Planet Word’s galleries. The field trip will celebrate language-learning, foster empathy for the immigrant experience, and demonstrate how one can communicate important ideas through writing and artistic expression. This program is a direct alignment with the Setting the Score Cornerstone for theater and DCPS ELA goals.

If needed, transportation will be provided free of cost.
