Step up to the plate for a home run evening of language and fun at our baseball-themed Wordplay Wednesday! Celebrate America’s pastime with word-based games, hands-on activities, and sporty surprises sure to knock it out of the park. Whether you’re a diehard fan or just here for the puns, there’s something for everyone at this interactive night at the museum.

All three floors of Planet Word will stay open late, so you can swing through the galleries, enter our Washington Nationals ticket giveaway, and enjoy baseball-inspired treats from Well Dunn alongside soda, beer, and wine from a pop-up bar by Immigrant Food. Pay what you can: $5–$25. Your ticket allows us to continue offering more great programs like Wordplay Wednesday to a wider audience.
