NEW KID with Imagination Stage

Looking for a fun family activity on the upcoming DCPS Professional Development Day? Attend a performance of New Kid by Dennis Foon produced by Imagination Stage; then, visit Planet Word’s galleries to reflect on all the ways we use language to connect or divide. This one-of-a-kind experience will celebrate language learning, foster empathy for the immigrant experience, and demonstrate how one can communicate important ideas through writing and artistic expression. This event is open to all ages but best suited for 3rd–5th graders and their families.

Registration for this event includes a ticket for one (1) to a performance of New Kid followed by general admission to the museum. A limited number of walk-up tickets will be available for the performance.
