Language & Food Global Dinner

Friday, April 29, 2022 | 7:00 p.m.

$165 | 925 13th St NW, Entrance on K Street

Immigrant Food and Planet Word partner to present an intimate dinner with special guest Stanford Professor Dan Jurafsky, the author of The Language of Food. The dinner will take you on a journey that explores the roots of seafood’s connections to global cuisines. Like people, foods are migrants, too. You will learn — and taste — the connections between Peru’s ceviche, Japan’s tempura and Britain’s fish and chips!

In this 24-seat, private experience, Professor Jurafsky’s unique style will entertain and educate diners about the incredible story of food’s global journeys, while Immigrant Food’s chef, Mile Montezuma, presents a specially curated, four-course menu with unique wine pairings.
