A.J. Jacobs is the author of four New York Times bestsellers including The Puzzler, a contributor to NPR, The New York Times, and Esquire, and the co-owner and executive producer of Hello, Puzzlers! He opens each show with a story on the puzzling mindset: how curiosity, reframing, and experimentation turn hard problems into invitations.

Greg Pliska is the Chief Puzzle Officer and co-host of Hello, Puzzlers! His puzzles have aired on NPR’s Weekend Edition Sunday, Ask Me Another, and A Way with Words, and he was a featured puzzle maker for The New York Times 2022 Puzzle Mania! book.
