As the National Spelling Bee comes to a close, it will be the grownups’ turn for some fun with words!

Bestselling author Gabe Henry is sure to bring some laughs as host of Planet Word’s Buzzed Spelling Bee for a fun and casual evening of open mic-style spelling competition, complete with cool categories (for example: Occupations, Animals, Urban Dictionary, etc.), and cocktails for purchase!

Sign up on the spot, grab a drink, and if selected as one of eight lucky contestants per round, put your buzzed spelling skills to the test. The top spellers of the night will go home with special prizes!

6:00 p.m. – 6:45 p.m. — Round 1
6:45 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. — Break (Don’t forget to refresh your drink!)
7:00 p.m. – 7:45 p.m. — Round 2
7:45 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. — Winners announced and conclusion
