Number 1 New York Times bestselling author Jason Reynolds returns to partner with Planet Word to kick off our summer season of literary events!

You won’t want to miss Jason’s first conversation with his very special guest and friend: improvisational vocalist, author, producer, and Grammy-nominated musician Kokayi. Their free-flowing conversation is sure to be thought-provoking. Whether spoken, written, rapped, or sung, Jason and Kokayi use their words to inspire great storytelling and show us how language is ever evolving and alive!

Future programs in Between the Lines with Jason Reynolds will also spotlight Black representation in the literary arts, showcasing writers and educators who are using the written word as a means of personal expression and social change. In their conversations, Jason and his friends will tap into everything from Hip Hop culture to storytelling.
