Join Planet Word for a thought-provoking conversation between #1 New York Times bestselling author Jason Reynolds and Dr. LaCharles Ward from the National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC) where he is Supervisory Museum Curator of Photography and Film and Director of the Earl W. and Amanda Stafford Center for African American Media Arts.

As an author, scholar of law, and curator of visual media, Dr. Ward has a 360° perspective on the many different forms of communication. Together, they’ll explore the art of visual storytelling as a lens for understanding Black history and culture and how both words and images can shape narratives in consequential ways, especially in the age of AI and deep fakes.
