Debating Big Questions with Michael Sandel
Monday, June 09, 2025 | 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
$15 | Friedman Family Auditorium
For years, Michael Sandel’s legendary course “Justice” has packed Harvard’s biggest auditorium, leading students through debates about the hardest moral and civic questions of our time. His BBC series The Global Philosopher leads participants from around the world in discussing the ethical issues lying behind the headlines, from climate change to immigration to free speech versus hate speech. In a lively, interactive session at Planet Word, Sandel will show how we can rediscover the lost art of democratic public discourse, even in polarized times.
Copies of Dr. Sandel’s books will be available for purchase, courtesy of Politics & Prose.
