The Reading League-DC and Planet Word invite educators to break out of the silo and join a dynamic professional learning event tailored to support your work with adolescent readers, from supporting multilingual learners to designing interdisciplinary instruction.
The program will feature a series of mini workshops led by talented practitioners from the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area who are eager to share their expertise and proven strategies. Each workshop will focus on a specific evidence-aligned lesson, idea, or approach designed to engage diverse learners and enhance literacy instruction. Example session topics include mastering multisyllabic words, bolstering reading fluency, supporting multilingual learners with reading comprehension, and establishing peer editing routines.
